In all seriousness though, not to defend a money grab, but I'd be willing to bet that this event was already locked in, well before they made that announcement about the PK, and they probably just didn't have another "top-tier" item ready to go in its place. I could very well be mistaken, but that's just how I reacted to it when I saw it. They plan all this stuff out, way ahead of time. Now, if we get another one like this down the road, then I'll be sitting there scratching my head, for sure

Personally, I don't really care though. I mean, Walmart (or any store) has TONS of items for sale, that I will never purchase and have no desire to, but I don't care about them selling that stuff. Netflix (or any streaming service) has TONS of content that I have no intention/desire to watch, but I simply don't watch it. Might seem like an odd comparison, but they're one and the same, to me. It's all goods and services, and I spend my money at my own discretion, as does everyone else. Most of the time, I just thank the devs for making it an easy choice NOT to buy, and carry on with my day. Again, just my personal view on it

@dSKyNafinchinThe reason I care- I want the other legends in the game to get their heirlooms before releasing 2nd ones for ones that already have them. Once all legends have them, go ahead do whatever.

    @hayhorFor that specific instance, I definitely agree with you. I don't see the point in recoloring anything with heirlooms, before all Legends even have one. My previous take, was just about in-game cosmetics in general, but I forgot to specify that.

    I get that Wraith was the first heirloom and whatnot, but I still don't understand why they decided to tweak it, when other Legends still don't even have one. My best guess, is it was simply to satisfy the Wraith mains that have been complaining about the heirloom, ever since they changed to the new system where you get to choose.

      @dSKyNafinchin There's an easy answer, Wraith got a buff, time to sell another heirloom.....you think we're getting new gloves for Pathy next? lol

      Sidenote, and no clue if I just missed in it in the patchnotes, but when you 'scan' a care package as Pathy, you instantly get your ult back.

        @Gabrielmojo26 Lol I didn't even think of the buff. Hopefully they don't recolor my boxing gloves, because I definitely can't afford to scoop them up!

        I did see that in the patch notes. He also still gets the -10s cooldown for each scan.

        This stuff came in pretty handy last night. Ran some duos with my buddy, and scooped up an RE with 2 squads left, to pick up the W. I never really used to even bother with care packages, unless I happened to walk right into one.

        That new ult distance is insane!!! First match was on WE, and we dropped at Thermal Station. I wanted to see the new range, so I popped a zip all the way back to the little cluster of buildings to the southwest at the edge of the map, from inside the guard rail at the lava pool in the main part of the POI! I'm definitely digging the rework, so far
