The alternator feels decent, event without the hop up until mid game but i try to switch for more optimal werapon if i don't find hop up after that.
Hop up makes it top tier.
The scout is certainly one of the most underrated weapon of the game. But the ironsights feels simply terrible for me and have lot out trouble with it.
I think the Alternator with the hop up is borderline too strong. Any gun can do some serious damage in the right hands but it's seems anyone can do easy damage with the Alternator when equipped with the disruptor rounds.
As for the G7, you could say it's in the right place. It's an alright gun to find straight off the bat and if you can find some attachments then great but it's so easy to drop. I say that cos if fully equipped the attachments I feel are fair better (and needed more) on all the other light ammo weapons. Similarily I'd always drop a G7 for a Hemlock.
So I'm not saying it's terrible I think its just average therefore, probably, is well balanced.
