Were the servers attacked?

Did the servers or a server get hacked? After finishing a match, I was unable to select a mode (trios/duos/ranked/arenas) and there was a new one that just said "savetitanfall.com |BRUH." Then below...

Congratulations on the Titanfall hackers! Way to stick it to the man! I love Titanfall and everything. BUT one thing I don’t like is hackers RUINING my fkn game! I can’t help but to think there was no OTHER way to get your message across without fkn the common person. But here we are.

Now you are as much as a * as EA for doing this dumb azz stunt. Congratulations! In all honesty Titanfall can burn to the fkn ground for all I care. Just because of the tasteless tact you chose to do. Har har. Laugh it all the way up.

It’s just pathetic on both ends. Pathetic EA a billion dollar company get siderailed by neckbeards in a basement. And pathetic the neckbeards can’t attack the infrastructure but the outlier affecting common folk. Such an absurd moment on both sides.

@ColdHours Wow it’s been a while...

My thinking is that the people who did this knew exactly what they were doing. They knew that this stunt would make ppl hate the message, intent, people behind it and EA and respawn for ‘allowing it to happen’. Their goal however was not to save titanfall as everyone seems to think.

Think about it. If such an attempt would be done to anything to raise awareness, it’s almost never to save something that’s in the message. It’s psychological thriller 101. Hackers raise negative awareness for titanfall... what will happen; EA putting new titanfall on hold and allocating resources into making Apex better.

I just blew your mind didn’t I! Just think about it. Even if EA announces TF next year, ppl will mostly still remember this incident and dislike the heck out of it meaning the third ‘bad strike’ for a franchise that should be up there with the greats!
