I think the L-Star needs to be looked at, I don't want it to be killed completely but it's really in a strong place and it's nearing how good the Havoc used to be in it's best state. I have to agree with @hayhor there.
I think the Bocek is still very good, the issue is that its hard at times to find ammunition and where sniper ammo is a lot more common, its easier to grab a Longbow IMO.
I hope the R-301 is not put in the care package and I'm actually a big fan of the current weapons in the CP. It will more than likely be an SMG that goes in there though, possibly a buffed version of the Volt.
With regards to hammer points, I really miss them too. I was a big P2020 user pre the removal of this hop-up and you're right, shatter caps is pointless too.
In regards to the legends, Wattson really needs a look at and has done for a while. Her fences are pointless and you can literally slide through them so easily. Caustic always needs more love, he becomes strong and then they just take it away from him all the time which annoys me. Defensive legends should be a deterrent, they should make you and your squad rethink your strategy when approaching a team that has a building on lock. I think Gibby is in a good place the same with Seer. The only difference and change that I would make to Rampart is to give her more benefits when using different weapon types too.

In the latest trailer, Respawn showed how much they love Wattson throughout the years.
I can tell you one big reason I've dropped out of the game is the lack of attention to old characters like Wattson. I mean, I like this community and I love certain youtube videos, but this game got worse and worse with each season. Someone has a problem at Respawn, far as I can tell, like big hang ups on what they think the game should be about. Wall hacks for everyone, moving vertical, purely ignoring certain characters...these are not things that make a healthy game.
Having said that, I have seen Respawn fix screw ups before, so I'll keep an ear out. Clearly, tho, there is almost too much to be done in regards to balance, and as they keep character dumping at 1 a season, I think the odds are against them.
@hayhor This is going to sound crazy, but while I think it's about other things too, that one aspect makes it super boring. You'd think that wasn't the case, but I kind of think the developers got really immature about what makes a good game. The whole benefit of Apex was that it was a tactical game. To keep making it a boring run forward shooter where everybody knows where everyone else is has made not just Wattson awful, but almost all defensive characters weak. Gibby is the only one people widely play if they aren't just playing a character for fun, because he's basically the most run forward of all the defensive characters.
Respawn has this problem, and they are too slow to fix their problems (see: Bad Servers). I mean, I'm slamming them, but I have seen them do well. So many games have more load time than game time...I played TF 2 recently and while the servers suck too, and a game can take forever to start, once you start playing, you are playing all the time. I can't believe it's a better game that's yet 5 years older than Apex.
Spending my time there now and in BL 3. And still looking for other mp shooters. I'll come back to Apex when they sort themelves, I think they can.
