What games you play when taking a break from Apex Legends

I find myself browsing Steam store all the time searching for something new to install for between Apex breaks

What games do you play as a break away from Apex in between?

Going to collect a list and try some out as ideas from all or recommendations.

I currently play or replayed recently past year.

Hearts of Iron 4

Civ 6

Stellaris

Age of empires 4

Escape from Tarkov

Mechwarrior 5

Battletech

Total War Warhammer series

X4 Foundations

Cyberpunk 2077

Sea of thieves

Division 2

Hitman 3

Witcher 3

Rainbow Six Siege and Extraction

Also too many indie games to list!

    @PeterN_UK When Respawn removes Control and I have to go play something else: Basically only been Mass Effect LE for 7 weeks, sniping heads and romancing my blue boo. Almost done with my 2nd playthrough.
    Never played ME before, despite having had two gaming friends repeatedly mumbling about ME for years and how they were sure I'd love it. Honestly, it's so great that I kinda wanna do a 3rd playthrough where I play it like a renegade *****. Surprised that there are no micro transactions in it though. EA, you alright there?
    Beyond that; Star Trek Online. But EA can hopefully find comfort in that I spend zero cash on Star Trek as well. ☺️

    • Rocket League (still bad but at least that's MOST players)

    • actual TTRPGS with other human beings, and likely beer.

    Mmmm... what seems to be the common thread there.. oh, yeah, single player options that respect my time, or PvP options with better matchmaking... that respects my time.

    Btw, there's Next Fest Event on Steam, with a lot of free demo's to try out.
