@damsonwhufndthis If it's not fun, don't play it. I'm not trying to shut you down or anything, but genuinely? If it's not fun, you shouldn't waste your time trying to make it fun. Apex stopped being fun for me a really long time ago, and I barely play anymore. Honestly I'm just finishing up the badge for 75 daily challenges completed, and that's it for S8 for me. (Btw, you should check out Deep Rock Galactic if you want a good time.)
As for what Apex does right, Respawn did a really great job with combat. Fast-paced and interesting, and their respawning system solved a problem that other BRs didn't have an answer for yet, IE, "What do I do after I die?" as well as their ping system for players without mics. But now the big BRs have grabbed those features for themselves, so now the only thing that sets Apex apart is the combat. It lets players feel like they've got a chance to win in every circumstance, without the one and done feel of Warzone, and without the dizzying building contests of Fortnite.
@pastaclownI mean yeah, but I'd still appreciate at least some difficulty deviation, but that probably won't be a thing, because if you are unlucky enough, every first game of Apex you play no matter the rank will be against someone who seems to have mastered every single move in apex, because I can't see myself straifing in unpredictable pattern while also crough spamming in upredictable pattern while also shooting directly at head while also predicting movement while also being able to snipe through lot of obstacles in tiny little gap......
Again ths would be expected in any game if it was ranked and high elo, but in Apex you can expect this in pretty much any rank or gamemode...
