I just don't get it, they try to make it logical on the legends so they make pathfinder footsteps so quiet.
MAYBE, because he is a robot, he has this hydraulic system on both of his feet or whatever so his footsteps sound like "tsk tsk tsk" lol 😃 so does Octane and Revenant but theirs are still a bit louder than Path.
All jokes aside, this is pretty annoying and unfair especially mid fights, you couldn't hear them unless it's pretty quiet.
I've been having problems with hearing footsteps in the game alot recently.. People jumping down from building i don't hear either. idk what's going on but its frustrating. It doesn't happen every game but far too often still

I take it you haven't really played much lately, I have a post up right now about pathfinder and to a lesser extent lifeline not making any damn sound.
They can be a few feet away and inaudible while running if there is a truck or a box or whatever in between you.
Since he's a lot heavier than Gibby Pathfinder should be somewhat audible.
@Wingmannedbro It's not even a legend specific issue, they're all doing it. Zipline audio has gotten worse too.
For me personally it's the most aggravating issue on this game as i really don't like losing matches to issues entirely out of my control lol.
I know they muffled footsteps in general, but for Path and LL it made them almost inaudible.
@Wingmannedbro I can't say i've noticed both legends footsteps being quieter than others to be honest. I'm hearing both fine when the audio doesn't cut entirely and remove the footsteps. :S
I'll pay closer attention when i jump on. 😛
