when will apex legends be cross play

I also am a PC player who has friends on consoles. I want to play with them. It doesn't matter about the skill gap as everyone is aware of it by now. We all just want to play together with our preferred gaming system. Allow crossplay in regular public lobbies but not in ranked, for obvious reasons, at least. It's been a year now and I just want to reconnect with my friends through this awesome game that we love 😔
