Where is the actual gameplay besides looting?

Sorry, not seeing that at all. The thing I personally like about battle royale is the flexibility it offers the player - it can be any kind of game you want it to be - fast or slow, hot or cold, shooter or looter. If you try to make it all one way and not the other then suddenly it's just Call of Duty with a different aesthetic. Or so says me.

3. Thanks for helping me to realize that a for-profit company cares more about profit than about my personal gaming experience. I didn't already know that because I'm a teenager who isn't a psychologist.

What I do know, because I'm both older and smarter than you seem to think, is that no game developer cares about the experience of any single gamer. They care about the aggregate player experience. You could look that word up if you're unfamiliar with it. And their ability to fine tune that aggregate experience is why Andrew Wilson is a millionaire many times over and you are not. Oops, did I just make an assumption about you based on absolutely nothing whatsoever? My bad....
