- @ImmortalGazelle For me, I probably have the most fun with Pathy and Mirage. Pathy for the grapple fun, and Mirage for the decoy fun. I just have a good time with both of them. Pathy has been my main since launch, but I've used Mirage a good bit throughout the years. I also have fun with Octane when I want to be really aggressive solo.
I can have a good time with pretty much any Legend though, if I'm being honest. There are things that I like, and also dislike, about all of them - reconzero2 years agoSeasoned Ace@ImmortalGazelle
Mobility is king. I played Pathfinder for 13 seasons and they were a hoot. All the great dialogue was a huge part of the appeal. Make me laugh and I'll put up with a lot. Thankfully there wasn't a lot about him that I had to "put up with."
Since season 14 I've played Valk. There is no more satisfying tactic in this game than drawing an entire squad to some useless part of the map, and when they're seconds away, assured of a quick and easy kill, you just blast off and leave them with nothing. And land somewhere else and start poking them all over again. It's like watching dogs chase their tail. Endless entertainment. - @ImmortalGazelle vantage , juste so i can play with a R99-mastif and still have a long range weapon.
plus i like her passive the jump not so much. Revenant <3 He is fun to play and amusing to listen to. I love his mobility. I also love all the story about him and the new look. Mirage is also great and was my previous main.
I have the most fun, generally, with the legends I do the best at. Currently, these are Conduit and Wraith. I suspect their hitboxes could be part of the reason they are my best. I like playing Octane a lot also, but I feel like I get more utility out of the others. It's fun showing randoms that not every Octane team mate is a selfish idiot. I enjoy Wattson, and have her playstyle down pretty well, but I don't often use her.
I used to enjoy Mirage, but it just doesn't feel like his abilities don't give much advantage anymore, everyone sees right through it compared to, say, a year ago. Fuse is fun, but when the crap hits the fan, it feels like he lacks enough escape-ability. Valk was a strong favorite for me for several seasons, but the nerfs to her passive made her too much of a sitting duck in my hands. The mobility is there, but the movement is too slow now - where I used to be able to bob and weave out of almost any disadvantageous situation, now she just gets beamed a lot of the time. Likewise, I find it very easy to beam Valks down when they try to use their passive to escape. Plus the readily available evac towers rendered her ult kinda useless.
I feel like the devs have done a pretty good job of making almost every legend fun to play, each in their own ways.
Legends I feel are un-fun to play (for me) are Lifeline, Gibby, Crypto, Seer in his current state, and probably a couple others that aren't coming right to my mind.
My top dog is Crypto, I even bought his green and white jacket, it is a very good quality leather reproduction. Crypto is all about being sneaky and I love giving players the bug zapper from his drone. I fly the drone close to the ground and pop up on them with the EM pulse. The drone is a good guard dog too. I mount it up some place high where I am looting the area. If I get a ping or the drone gets destroyed, then I know they are here. This gives me time to scoot. Originally Crypto was able to see the next ring but got upgraded to being able to detect all the players locations instead. This make him a real James Bond type of character. When I play him in a team, I gather intel on the enemy, and I use the drone to confuse them. I was very good with the AR (old 6 man arenas) and often the pings allowed the other 2 members to locate and destroy the other team. My opponents always make the mistake of shooting my drone. I get it back after a 30 second cool down, it causes them to be distracted from shooting my team (the real threat), and it expends their ammo needlessly. Crypto isn't about the kill and is mostly about assisting the other members to make the kill. I got him the all black suit so he can hide well in the shadows.
For just goofing around I like Mirage. I love hearing "You got bamboozled!". I do miss the party ships... you could dress original and blend into the crowd there. If you holstered your gun and did the dance emote, players thought you were just another of his holograms. I had people bump into me while I was dancing and they were looting his ship. It was just like I was invisible to them.
There is fun to be found in playing all of the legends, you need to just find out what kind of entertainment you are seeking.

Lifeline. But as I'm not allowed to have fun on Apex, she's obviously been nerfed into oblivion. Latest by allowing dead people to be respawned with purple/gold/red armour. So now they don't even need her blue on spawn anymore. And drone outside zone nerf.
So I play the 2nd most fun legend now, i.e. Wraith. She's the most toxic legend in the game. I love her. Good fun on TDM and Control.
Honestly the hardest legends to play because they generally require teamwork even though Apex is a solo game (no I did not make a mistake typing that).
So, Wattson, Catalyst, Vantage.
My least favorite are Pathfinder, Octane and the super filthy Seer,
But that’s ok because it never ends the teams that constantly fill those last 3 I mentioned, crutch choices.
