What Legends do you think play well with Crypto? I think wraith is a good one to have on your team because while crypto is scouting with his drone, wraith can create her portals so you can catch up to the fight.
I then think Wattson is a good one to have on the team too as she can secure the area where crypto may be hiding. Also she can place her fences around wraiths portal to trap the enemies.
Any other suggestions?
Wraith/pathfinder are a must have tbh, like you stated he needs something to keep him in the fight.
Otherwise i'd say its a pretty open book in terms of a third legend.
My ideal crypto squad is pathfinder/bang/crypto.
My team normally consist of Crypto (me), Octane (friend), and a Wattson or Mirage.
I tend to scout and scan the enemies and if one seems to be farther away from his friends, I have Octane rush him while he attempts to shoot the drone for an easy knock.
Mirage or Wattson are also just their mainly for a greater defense around me or to also distract the enemy to make it easier for our main act (Octane) to take them down.
I enjoy supporting as it's easier for me to scope out the situation and make choices based on what I see rather than be on the front end and not knowing what's going on around me but only in front. This is also a play based on holding an area down and waiting for enemies to come vs using Crypto to scout enemies you are rushing. Considering the drone gives off a loud noise, it isn't much of a surprise that I can take advantage of thus not my cup of tea.
In real tryhard mode, I'd say wraith is an absolute must for crypto. The only way to engage with crypto's ult for him from further away is through a wraith portal (crypto flies in the drone to ult, wraith leaves a protal at his feet, crypto takes the portal as soon as the emp goes off).
The third slot is free choice.
