Hey, I know this is an old post but I'm struggling terrible. Maybe you can help me too?
@BKobilis I’ll summon the local helper @DarthValtrex, you’re up. And I know what he’ll ask so answer these questions to make it easier for him: what platform are you on, which timezone, how late are you usually online, how long have you been playing apex or other FPSs and have you tinkered with the different settings & practiced in firing range?
I think most people are forgetting the biggest reason why you feel you are not getting better. The truth is that putting that much time you definitely have gotten better but sbmm just continues to match you with better players as your skill increases. I am a significantly better player now than I was a year ago my my k/d is actually worse now than some seasons prior to the ramping up of sbmm. Also the player base as a whole has probably gotten significantly better as well.
