Why are people so afraid to buy their ult in Arena?

Like I would understand if it's something like Pathfinder ult or Rampart ult but why are people so damn afraid to buy their ult or even use them?
Are you saving your ult for next game or something?
Devs should just make ult free at level 4 armor round atleast then I would have my ult and can buy attachments for my secondary weapon and maybe carry harder.
It's so annoying having these clowns that pick legends that have strong ults but never buy it or use it and still can't down people with their level 4 mags!

@Daze623 Depends on the character but I always buy my ult if it is a good one for the map.

@hayhor I always buy my ult once the round starts where I can buy my main gun's level 4 attachment + 1-2 shield batts. If I don't use it I still keep it anyway for when I really need it. I usually play Octane,Wraith,Bang.

@Daze623 I play Lifeline/Pathfinder mostly. I buy ziplines only in later rounds, and never buy Lifeline ult.

@Daze623 The pricing for abilities is very messed up to me. Some legend's abilities are ridiculously expensive. And then there's the times you're given to buy them. Like some Legends can buy their ult in the 1st round (if you're using just a pistol to fight). And some you have to wait til round 3. They need to fix the system.

@Daze623 I gotta admit I dont worry too much about a second gun or max attachments. And now that E9 has showed me the fun that is a decked out mozzy I can save even more credits. lol

@Lord_Scorpion34 I honestly think it should just be free. Why do we even have to buy our ults in the first place? I understand buying guns and their attachments but abilities it just doesn't make sense.

@hayhor I suck at using the mozzy tbh. I prefer p2020 more. I just can't aim with that gun.

@Daze623 Dont ask questions you dont want the answers to! =P jk lol but i hardly ever buy my ult. My grenades and bats are more important with my decked out primary weapon.

@E9ine_AC I mean I can understand but when you're playing legends that have really good ult for 3 v 3's I think you should still buy them. I've had so many games where I was playing Octane and my teammate Rev won't buy his ult and it's just driving me crazy.

@Daze623 The matches are so fast that most the times the ults will not be worth buying due to the quickness. For rev if your killing the enemy team without it then that tells the rev ok it doesnt matter if i got this or not the enemy will still die. A lot of the ults dont hold much purpose. Only time i bought wraith portal was when someone pissed me off enough to kidnap them. lol
