Why are these items so expensive!!??

I truely understand that they need to make money. The fact that the rarest of items in any other battle royle is only about 15 to 20$. Yet they have basic legendary weapons, character skins, banner, and such forth that price. This is Unbelieveable and want to know if there is a website or anything that we could all come together and demand cheaper prices!!!

  • Solo mode is a win but this event is a huge fail. The next event seriously needs to be amazing because this one is pushing tons of people away from the game. I have plenty of friends who looked at this event and said they're done with the game.

The price is the price, you do not have to spend. There is no game advantage behind what they are selling purely cosmetic.

I like some of the cosmetics and brought 450 pack to get the kanji.  But for the bloodhound hatchet for me it's not worth it cause I rarely play him, so I choose not to buy the packs.

Other may choose to buy the packs for it, it up to the person.

At the end of the day, if you are worried about things being to expensive then you need to look at yourself and think, should I really be spending my money on a video game? It's like gambling, if you cant afford to loose it, dont spend it cause you are not getting it back.

  • Yes as a matter of fact it's exactly like gambling and that's precisely the problem. This game is rated T, if you are 13 you are a child. Gambling is not for children, and I'm seriously surprised the government hasn't come down harder on this * yet. Yes you need to be 18 to get a credit card, but many children know their parents' info by heart. Forget about the people who were tricked into buying all of the crates in week 1 before todays "update", what are the ethics of manipulating children and undeveloped teens?

Yes it's a business, but I have to wonder what the hell happened to ethics. Is this really the look EA wants? To be the children's StarWars casino company? I seriously don't understand why this isn't illegal yet. There are many good reasons you have to be 18 to gamble, which is USUALLY taken very seriously. When I was 13 I developed an OCD gambling addiction to TF2 and then CSGO. After shady trades I just barely came away from it with my money. I wonder how many parents are even aware of what is going on inside their kids' games lately, because 8 years ago mine sure wasn't.

  • I typed out a long post about my personal teenage experience with gambling addiction; ethics, T-rated games, and children. I can only assume a mod deleted it, so good job I guess man. That's one way to shut up your fan-base. Wouldn't want a discussion to occur on the forums after all.
