Why did I die in Three Strikes but my squad mates didn't? I don't get it,

I don't get the three strikes mode. Both my teammates were knocked. I then killed off 2 teams and pickup up my 2 teammates - very quickly, I like that. Then I was knocked by another team and killed. It then just said "Waiting for respawn" I watched for 5 minutes but nothing happened. Why did I die when knocked but they didn't?

@PistolSkin Did you fall off the map or press circle? Circle kills yourself. Falling off the map also kills you.

Thanks. I was fightining outside the zone so maybe the ring me after I was downed. I guess I have to wait for the rest of the squad to die in that case before I get respawned?

@PistolSkin You shouldn't be able to be killed while knocked I think

@PistolSkin That might be it. I think that happened to me in zone.
