Why do 99% of players do this in BR games?

Almost every match I play (not just in Apex, but any BR I've tried), it feels like 99% of the lobby drops at the same location and just leaves the rest of the map almost deserted... I've wondered thi...

@jokool_aid There's little reason not to. If you're good you'll mop up a squad or two before moving on. If you're bad you might get lucky and shoot an unarmed or distracted player in the back.

There's only two Legends that can quickly find fights without relying on gunshots (Valkyrie, Ash) so if you don't drop hot you'll waste a lot of time looting.

There's also no penalty for death or failure. Quit and start a new game. A game with zero repercussions will often be played with zero thought.

I think the only reason is: it's very easy to kill someone at the beginning of the match and progressively harder when going forward.
So if You see someone with high amount of kills I bet they have farm it at the beginning of matches. Usually hot-dropping, killing few and dc.
