While completely ignoring glaring issues? I’ve been scrolling through the forums and notice they only respond to trivial issues, or to yell at someone for being toxic. But head to the technical issues section, they completely ignore issues that a lot of people are experiencing. I’m not asking for them to have all the answers, I just want to know why they decide to leave players in the dark?
because they are not devs, they really have no power (no offense intended).....they are "COMMUNITY" managers, they manage the forums.....
@scitzo they operate on more of a feedback basis, anything with a high uptick of interest or a frequently occurring issue gets passed up the chain. If a official response or fix actually makes it back to them they share it.
This has resulted in them getting a fair amount of unwarranted grief during my 3 years on these forums...probably what's led to the lack of general interaction you see now which used to be much higher.
The subforum for Technical Issues are intended for users who require tech support.
These are mostly issues that aren't caused by the game itself, typically faulty hardware or other software, which can be resolved by the user itself.
AHQ is a community based forum, so you'll mostly see users interact with other users, the tech support will mostly be done by users just like us that have some more knowledge of the matter at hand.
Of course CM's can help with tech support here and there, but do note that they can be active on many different forums, so they can't always help with every single issue.
They can help providing info on certain matters, collect data and much more, though typically this isn't required, hence why we don't see them visiting every post.
If there are ongoing issues then they typically are already mentioned on the social media sites or the Trello board.

The amount of threads under the technical section of the forum that are having the same insane lag/ lag spikes/ constant sed symbols in the corner that get ignored is unbelievable.
ever since the loba event for man the game is unplayable.
I get EA is a global company and want to help as man y as possible, i'm not demanding an immediate fix. All we would like is some acknowledgement that there isa a problem and willl be patched.
Im glad others have noted the same issue.
Lets see if the numerous DM's i have sent them regarding the issue get a reply. not holding my breath!
