Why do kills/damage not count from holiday event?

This is more so a question for EA/Respawn, so let me just lay out the reasoning as to why it should count... These themed events are a nice change of pace to the regular game modes, and offer so muc...

@HellsBlackAce They popped a shield cell or two, are a gibi, have a life line on their squad or you did not do 175 damage..

@DarthValtrex they didn't have time to pop a cell when they were shooting the whole time, is normally the robot and yes the death summary says i over 175 damage for them, then the match today with the person with the purple shield on in winter express

    @HellsBlackAce That’s not possible unless he looted it at epicenter or something. But as far as I’ve seen there is no loot.

    You either downed the person snd god downed by someone else.

    They were next to a wattson ult. Popped a shield or something along those lines..

    Purple shield is possible in Winter Express, Lifeline can get it in through a care package, so it's not a bug. I am curious if you can do something smart like dropping your blue armor in the train to use it later for swapping during the fights.
