Why do people hate lifeline?
I was so excited to play lifeline once the buff came out (I usually don’t play her), and my teammates literally refuse to get healed or revived? Like I’ve had teammates have full shields up and only ...
I want to be careful how i word this for fear of repercussion, so please be aware im trying to be respectful and gentle,
But some people aren't so tactically smart... or have common sense with it.
I'm the opposite. I'm always trying to make use of Lifeline, I'll carry less medical and call for bot when necessary.
My experience however is Lifeline dropping revives on me when I'm in a doorway or before I've got into cover. Which more often results in your death because you lose your shields.
Sometimes maybe the Lifeline just needs to drop that revive and hope you get up in clutch moments but yeah.
The moral of the story is there are many many people lacking tactical awareness or common sense when it comes to certain behaviours in the game.
It was definitely a lot better when Lifeline had the shield on the revive too. Maybe it's OP though.
I agree with you... I have at times while waiting for a teammate that is downed to crawl to a better location that is safer, and while attempting to either reload, open a door so they can get through or close a door to help protect them or access a death box quick that is close by - and I accidentally revive them and get them killed. : ( That I've done more times than I would like to admit.
But with the upgrades, I try and make sure my teammates never half to heal up no matter what the situation. I also try to never lead the team or stay up front. If I go down first, I can't help them. So I try to trail just behind so that I can get the revives and heal them up while providing cover fire.
I don't understand while some ppl use a support legend when they are the type of player that takes off and never looks back.
