Why do people want laser sights?
Can someone explain this to me? I see speculation again about laser sights. In other games I've always ignored them because if an enemy had one it always gave their position away and they were easier to kill.

Ahem. Because it helps newer players to get the hang of aiming. - @hayhor I loved lasers in BF. Especially for snipers. I don't think it gave away my position as much as having a long range scope did.
BF is a short ttk game while apex is a long ttk game, when you got short ttk it does not really matter if you have a tight hipfire spread, you will die in one clip anyhow, even from the hip. In apex it takes a lot to be able to one clip someone and hipfire is already quite powerful on the weapons you can use for that, to get something to make them even more powerfull would require some serious balancing, and I promise that would bring chaos to the forums hehe.
- @hayhor Isn't the charge rifle a prime example of why laser sights are a bad idea? Granted I do use the charge rifle to bait people when I play as caustic.

If you can see the laser, you can track its origin, works for them and you.....so if you choose not to equip one....well you get the jist of it hehe.
@MandatoryIDtag on average during daylight, a red lazer can only be seen 25-30 yards away and a green lazer up to 100 yards. And I guess that depends on the size of the lazer, ie circumference.
Maby respawn will only have the dot appearing on a target from the pointed lazer and not light up the sky. Might only have a viable distance too.
