are u seriously arguing that? pubs should be all qualities of player, not the sh*tters held in their own section, and sbmm should only be in comp. that should be common sense but for some reason i suspect it isnt for u
@a24zxc5411011abx Oh yeah pit the 20 k kills TTV Wraith against the average players? If you had common sense you would see what I am tryna say, eh? SBMM is necessary for pubs too. They should tweak the sbmm a bit, is all. Looks like someone is afraid to fight the players of their own skill level.

Not that I want absolutely random lobbies (I actually want SBMM to be toned down, not eliminated), but the average player occasionally running into the 20 bomb 4k Wraith is actually more fair than forcing skilled players into tournament level matches in pubs (EVERY MATCH).
Remember back before they cranked the SBMM up? Pubs offered variance. SBMM was there but it wasn’t as aggressive. My pubs right now are literally all Masters and Preds. The game fundamentally changes at that level because one small mistake and you get melted. This is exactly how ranked should play— not pubs.
Again, I don’t want SBMM removed, but I do want the overall difficulty of pub lobbies toned down. Revert it back to 2019.- @BaldWraithSimp I Completely agree with having the sbmm in pubs. Ppl play pubs to relax and not get sweated on every 2 seconds. My lobbies always have previous preds, masters and the likes and they'll be 3 stacking while me and my friend are sitting here with less than 10k kills life time total and everyone else except 1 or 2 teams in the lobby have 10k kills on one character. Not to mention I only have about 220 wins life time and the ppl in my lobby have 4x that on one character let alone lifetime numbers. Why should anyone have to deal with that when pubs are meant to be more relaxed "at your skill lv" experience? It's been broken since the switch release and apex refuses to fix it. Even ranked is horrible with cheaters and smurfs alike. The only part of apex that doesn't seem broken as far as sbmm goes is arenas and I say that lightly too. Season 10 needs to get a major overhaul for the sbmm or apex is gonna die bc even pros are putting it down constantly now for other games.
