I get that, but there's no point in doing so if your gameplay can't back it up. Also there's no point in landing in fragment every single match just to get destroyed by teams that landed there a good 10 seconds before you touch down. Good luck finding a weapon, or a shield. I've been in lobbies where this happens over and over and over to no end. I used to get a ton of kids in my lobbies when I was playing on the Bahrain servers and they all did that.

Don't get me wrong, it can be fun, sure. And you can have those magical moments where everything just falls into place and your squad simply wipes the floor with every other player. But I get mostly bad teammates and I'm not good enough to wipe the whole building myself. People looting instead of healing, teammates not allowing you to even pick up a gun when they already have one (I'm looking at YOU Octane!), teammates stealing your loot, etc...you know the drill.
Also, to me, winning is winning, no matter if I get 2 kills or 10. Hot dropping almost guarantees your out the game right at the start like what, 70% of the time? Or for me 99% of the time 🙂 After a while it's just not fun anymore.
- E9ine_AC5 years agoHero+@Sand_spitter That is difference from me and majority of players. I do not allow what 1 person on my team determine my out come. If they take my loot i go some where else and loot. I'll go in fist blazing before I allow a teammate to bother me from looting.
I could careless if I win or lose. The main aspect for me is did I have fun. Life is too short to take things so serious for myself. Live or die I learn from mistakes. Live or die I had a blast. Not to mention I come with sound effects and stuff. =D - PeterN_UK5 years agoSeasoned Ace
Main reason "why" hot drop is so popular.
In 60 secs you can get 2-3 kills and good loot and even if you're out, then the match making is so quick to start another lobby.
What is worse is when doing cold landing, spending 10 mins looting, then die in 5 secs without getting 1 kill and just been used as a loot tick by enemy squad. Feels much worse.

Good way to live!
That reminds me of the 2 teammates I had once that stole all the loot and ammo, like literally everything remotely decent, leaving me with all the crappy stuff.. I opened up a bin and found a much needed level 1 extended mag for my alternator and the pathfinder on my team even took that (due to his ping being lower). So, I threw down everything I had since they so desperately wanted EVERYTHING, and ran the opposite way to go loot across the map. They picked up my stuff, and even added "thank you's". *facepalm*
Some people just don't get it when they're being bad teammates. And they still ended up following me around... 😢
