Why does my gun reload after one shot with full mag

I play on Xbox and, In apex legends my weapon reloads after shooting a single bullet, and is causing me to lose gunfights, how can i fix this. This is also happening on different controllers in game ...

Still wondering if this is affecting other platforms or just xbox, though.

  It started happening to me today on PS4 and Ijust bought a new controller YESTERDAY!! Resetting the controller and reopening the game fixed mine but we'll see for how long.

    @TARIKU-5What mode are you playing when it happens? I assume mix tape which is mixed lobbies right now. This is exactly why I do not want mixed lobbies.
