I don't understand why they do this to devoted longtime players, here is my issue...At lvl 300 we go from getting a FREE pack every other level to 1 FREE pack every 5 levels.After reaching lvl 500 we get NOTHING... just legend tokens....I find myself having no real incentive to play the game as much anymore because I have NO way to unlock anything anymore.I've found all Treasure packs for this season (9) and have had a 110 BP lvl for a week now.I still have NO heirloom... I just would like at least the option to own 1 of them.For context: I've reached a BP lvl of 110 for Season 5-9, completed every treasure pack collection during each of those seasons, been playing the game since week 1, and have invested close to $200 in this game buy purchasing APEX Coins.

It's just how they've always done it, when the level cap was 100 we stopped getting packs upon "level up".I guess it's because they're not actual level ups if that makes sense? Like when they do increase the cap it'll continue from 500 and none of the 'levels' you earned between 500 and the increase will be there.I'm gonna assume in early development they were actually going to do something worthwhile with tokens and just never bothered in the end. *shrugs*

@SILVERisSORRY Are there any true $60 games anymore? Most that charge for the game also have addon stuff just like apex. Again Apex is free. You can play it every day without spending a dime. You chose to spend $200 on a hobby, no different than spending it on an experience, food or drink you like.I'm level 1200+ and have spent more but to me it is OK as I enjoy thousands of hours of gameplay. When I really look at it the fun per penny is a pretty good ratio compared to everything else I spend on.

Funny that they stop giving away free packs to those who play and support their game the most. I’ve reached lvl 500 since season 6 and my battle pass is on Belgium so I don’t get a lot of packs. Just hoping that these flash event prizes with packs will contain my heirloom. xD

@MLBoozer Also level 800+ here but still no heirloom but my friend who recently just started got an heirloom at level 70. FML.

Players should be more worried about why gambling is part of the game, not why they aren't getting anymore gambling packs? This is why, EA has successfully got these people addicted to Apex packs. So when they don't get anything of value from packs they buy with their money, the natural reaction is to demand free packs.Guess I wouldn't know, I have never indulged in gambling. I have spend $60 on BP, and content with what I get.

Why does RESPAWN stop giving FREE Apex Packs at lvl 500?

Honestly I haven't even noticed that they stopped. I can't recall ever getting anything good out of one of those anyway. Maybe that should be fixed as well as the level cap of 500, maybe 1000? Give us something to work towards, not just making us purchase Heirlooms.

@hayhor Yeah I get that but, it just feels like the amount of content you get from a $60 game is far more than what you get from Apex.

Considering that I've spent $200 on Apex. It feels like I get way less content than any $60 game on the market.

My point is I think at the VERY LEAST any player that reaches lvl 500 should at least be guaranteed to have 1 Heirloom.

Also I think we should be able to "sell" unlocked skins, banner frames, poses, etc, for characters we don't even play. Maybe have a way to convert them to crafting shards so we can unlock basic items for the characters we actually play.

I remember being level 800+ (according to apex tracker app) when I got my first heirloom shards. It's crazy how long it takes to randomly drop.

At least we should be able to sell things in exchange for crafting materials. Which have become almost nonexistent especially compared to whatever the red points are? (430,000!!!! Of those) And I will never admit how much I've spent on this free game

@hayhor Same here. I don’t mind spending as long as I’m having fun with it. Same goes on why I don’t judge people who buy expensive sneakers or those who choose to get a sports car instead of a toyota prius. LOL.

As for the gambling part, I don’t buy apex packs. I only buy the skins I want and will use.
