Why does the hemlok exist?
Hemlok and other guns that are just useless, no one uses them, why keep them in the game? Seriously?

@dioangel I use the Hemlok a lot and it’s far from being useless. 🙂
Please explain how it is better than a Flatline or a 301? Clearly the usage stats say otherwise
- @dioangel Because you only have to 2-3 tap people from across the map. Also free headshot close-mid range as it pulls up while bursting. Flatline has dumb recoil, of course not a problem for all the cheaters. Nothing is better than R301, though the removal of Anvil made it a little meh as a sniper.
- @dioangel I can better control it mid-long range and you get more headshots because of the recoil. The R031 is more flexible in more situations and the flatline has great hipfire recoil compared to the R301. Different guns, different pros and con’s but it’s nowhere useless.
@Cheese9ManAgreed, I also use the Hemlock quite a lot if I can't find the Flatline lol but the range is much metter than other weapons imo

- @dSKyNafinchin And this is the nerfed version of it. I still have nightmares of season 7/8 Hemlok/Mastiff Legends (S7 was also the 2-tap Mastiff). LOL.

I honestly don't know which was more annoying to be killed by... pre-nerf Hemmy, or that ridiculous Mastiff XD The Hemlock is most definitely still a perfectly viable weapon though. I actually prefer it over the Flatline! My heavy weapon preference would probably be Rampage>Hemlock>Prowler>Flatline>Repeater>Stupid Wingman that I miss every shot with
There’s a lot of praises for the Hemlok here including some from me but let’s not forget that the Hemlok also has a hideous iron sight. It’s like looking through a needle. LOL! But give me a 2x bruiser, it will rip enemies apart in mid range.

@Cheese9ManI hate the Flat's site more. Picking up a site is a must for that thing. Only weapons I actually like iron sight on is Volt, Rampage, & the light pistols.
- @Lord_Scorpion34 not the case for the paid skins, sometimes I managed to pick up one from a killed enemy and indeed that slim Flatline skin has much better iron sight but it comes at the cost. Is it worth it - not for me, easier to find any scope in game than a spare money to send to Respawn :P

It's not like you get to choose all your weapons. You fight with what you can find at first.
Since we're pretending you get whatever you want, sure, I tend to pick up other things. First off, boosted loader is a near useless upgrade so I can tell you I never bother with that. It's a matter of it's still pretty good at long range without dealing with the arcing fire of a 30-30 and heavy rounds in fact do more damage than light. Yes, I too would rather use a 301 or Flatline, but there is a gun spam out there now and just like characters, the more of them there are, the clearer it will be which ones are better.
Still, you mostly chose your character. You do not chose which guns you get to pick up unless you last. And if I have a Hemlock and someone else has a worse gun, I've still got the odds in my favor.
@KelRiever Probably because the loader was built solely for the wingman and thrown on the hemmy as an afterthought lol.. 😛
That's how it seems anyway.
