G7 Scout would like a word.

Hemlok used to be very good, but they nerfed its hipfire close range capabilities so much that I am not touching it anymore. Too many times did I try to fight someone close range with it that it just shoots completely elsewhere. Not worth the hasle.

I haven't tried it out much this season @pandareno1999, I will give it another try!

It's not like you get to choose all your weapons.  You fight with what you can find at first.

Since we're pretending you get whatever you want, sure, I tend to pick up other things.  First off, boosted loader is a near useless upgrade so I can tell you I never bother with that.  It's a matter of it's still pretty good at long range without dealing with the arcing fire of a 30-30 and heavy rounds in fact do more damage than light.  Yes, I too would rather use a 301 or Flatline, but there is a gun spam out there now and just like characters, the more of them there are, the clearer it will be which ones are better.

Still, you mostly chose your character.  You do not chose which guns you get to pick up unless you last.  And if I have a Hemlock and someone else has a worse gun, I've still got the odds in my favor.

In the end, it depends from player to player, and platform too. I for one, on console, the guns I stick the most with are the R-301, Volt, and Longbow. I avoid the Havoc like the plague. Its so useless without the turbocharger. 

And the Wingman isn't that much better. I hardly hit anything with it on controller. I am not kidding, I can shoot 3 mags at the enemy, only to land maybe 1 bullet or 2. I just cannot get any kills with it. However this morning, I decided to give it a go on MnK and I got 6 kills already in 2 matches. And I haven't played on MnK since october 27 so I was bit rusty I guess. But it was definitely easier to hit things than on controller. 

I also like to use the G7 and the 30-30 on PC.

Lately I am avoiding shotguns on both platforms though. I don't know, but honestly, it feels like the damage they put out is just random. 

@KelRiever  Probably because the loader was built solely for the wingman and thrown on the hemmy as an afterthought lol.. 😛

That's how it seems anyway.
