@E9ine_AC and I can assure you that it is not happening today, I can show you multiple videos of streamers using the ingame voice/chat and breaking the TOS multiple times - I will send that in the report and lets see if that streamer even gets a warning, deal?
Meanwhile if it was just a normal player, indeed they would get punished. Since EA has nothing to lose to enforce the TOS in that situation. Meaning the TOS only really applies to people who arent too famous for it to impact EA negatively - then indeed the TOS stands. Great company values.
@NitromethaneAPI have stated it twice. If that user is not reported by those in their party then the user has broke no rules. You will not be able to play white knight savior on this one. Only way rules can be broke is if they are actually reported for it. As someone with many big name friends who stream I can assure you they do get warnings / actions taken against them.
Streamers do not remotely get a out of jail free car. They are treated like normal people would be. Wtihout those in their party reporting them though there is nothing that can be done. TOS team also has a job to do and its not to govern twitch. Thats up to twitch.

@E9ine_AC so the person in their party has to report it for it to be breaking the TOS? I cant report it? What? Thats not how it works. If someone breaches the TOS and is not reported, and evidence is showned after - that user will and should be punished.
Streamers actually get a lot of free jail cards, the bigger you are - the bigger the benifits.
We can see on a daily basis that the TOS is being breached by some very popular streamers, yet nothing ever happens to them. And you are here to tell me I cant report them - only if im in the party and they are cursing me?

You can report players if you're not in their party.

It seems you care a lot about the consequences that cheaters/TOS breakers are getting, @NitromethaneAP
The only way I know to get actual feedback on your report is to report it on Twitter to Hideouts.
Not only cheaters, but also racist people or other TOS breaking will be dealt with. See for yourself.

@DYSPROssium so one guy got banned. Thats, great - what about the big streamers who breach the TOS on a daily basis - will they also get punished? Nope, they havent for more than a year.
- E9ine_AC5 years agoHero+@NitromethaneAP Are you in the party to see they actually have their push to talk on? Or are you hearing streamers speak in general out loud. Why i said unless that party member finds them to be harrassed it would be different situation.
Giving your post i lean towards you are speaking about Shiv. Who has devs inside his stream at times. Unless those coms are open then no rule is broken. Without PROOF it was said in the in game chat then there is absolutely nothing that can and will be done. Kinda what this one streamer is well known for creating crazy content for his users and will go on rage rants. But how do you actually know in game coms have been pressed for that person to hear them?
That then makes it a concern of twitch it self or what ever platform they are on. You can report them all you want. But without in game logs showing such things its hear say. - 5 years ago
@E9ine_AC anyone can see when they are talking through the ingame voice and when they arent.
If its OK for them to use the ingame voice and calling people "*, * *". Then why is it not Ok for others to do the same?
Sounds to me like bad excuses. "But we didnt even know that there is a icon on the screen when you use the ingame voice" "But that is his act, he likes to throw tantrums" etc.

Yes @NitromethaneAP , that is one person that got banned.... because I linked 1 tweet lol. There are many more (just take a look on the linked twitter), and even more not-publicly.
Did you report those "big streamers" to Hideouts with clear proof that they are breaking the TOS every day?
I have the feeling you are very convinced that big streamers are untouchable, and it doesn't matter how much I and others argue otherwise.
I cannot say that you're true or not without seeing video proof. I'm not sure if you can share the video here, probably falls within the accusation rules.
Instead, if you're completely convinced that this is unacceptable and you have proof, you could choose to post it somewhere else. Maybe Reddit, Twitter, and see if others agree with you. I don't know the rules of those places though.

@DYSPROssium I´ll try to report it and see what the result will be - I already know. I.E nothing.
- E9ine_AC5 years agoHero+@NitromethaneAP Because the others was reported with proof via in game logs or screen shots. If no reports are made then how can action be taken? Those users was not offended by it. Therefore was not reported. I doubt the company will report for the users.
As mention above if you find it to be offensive to you what someone says to another person then file a ticket yourself with the concern at hand. - 5 years ago
@E9ine_ACI don't have a problem with Shiv or the way he conducts himself streaming and it's good to get it out anyway but he clearly broke the rules a fair few time when it comes to toxicity and such.. xD
- E9ine_AC5 years agoHero+@apostolateofDOOM He did before. I can't say now if he uses words that are actually against the TOS of twitch itself. They have recently cracked down hard on hate and harassment. Before maybe but I can say there are more regular players who cause far more harm then streamers who are reported in game and dealt with.
- 5 years ago@E9ine_AC No doubt about that.

The problem you have said is weird as you are implying that non-streamers are getting banned for breaking TOS for saying certain things. However, do you have an example of this? If you have an example of a non-streamer getting banned for non-TOS speech in-game chat talking please let us (community) know.
