Why dont I get the kill if I down the Enemy ?

But I die and another team finish them off ? I always seem to down 2 out of the 3 enemies but die and the last guy is one shot and then another team one shots him and he gets 3 kills, is that fair ? ...

@johnmiceter because your game is over the moment your squad dies... You can't keep accumulating points after that

@twitchSeriel_FPSi understand that. But the other team shouldnt get 3kills for doing 20 damage or even 100 damage to 1 person because, I still think its fair that I or whoever downs them (even if they are eliminated) should get those kills.

  @johnmiceter you are eliminated already so I don't get why you would still get rewards.

    @Daze623 Because they are still essentially pre-death actions.
    
    Many games factor in posthumous kills. Some even give bonuses for it. I feel particularly if you spectate until the fact then it should be rewarded.
    Example... you knock someone, ring gets you. Then ring gets them or they bleed out. You deserve that kill.

  @johnmiceter I am pretty sure they don't get the kills you downed. No one does, unless they get revived

    @twitchSeriel_FPS Ive gotten 3 kills that way, unless they have changed it recently ?
