In all the seasons of playing when and if i hit diamond (depends how much time i play) i just quit the seaon, there is literally no point in playing just to constantly do the "derank" cycle (now) or constantly getting wrecked early (before hideous derank changes).
At that point i firmly believe the game is stacked in favour of content creators, we are literally just fodder for youtube videos, the fact that it stacks your opposition higher in 9 out of ten games proves this, it never dowwngrades your opposition at all. I get that the player pool is relatively small at that rank but seriously! There are only 500 preds FFS.
Another example of non existant SBMM, ive just played 3 games with two rookie ranked and im gold 1.
Game 1 champ squad Plat/Plat/Gold
Game 2 champ squad Plat/Plat/Gold
I will let your imagination tell you what the champ squad in game 3 was...............
Now you tell me that any kind of SBMM exists AT ALL and you would be lying, it meets the ranked criteria via loophole but you cant tell me there is any "skill" algorithm gone into that at all.
As regards any kind of QOL fixes, respawn like any other dev thinks if they introduce enough glitz and glamour it will detract from the glaringly obvious fundamental issues that people have, like getting 10 minute penalties for THEIR server crashing....... oh yes, literally the reason i just clicked on exit game...........
