One of the reasons I avoid ranked is that I may be locked in with players who are very toxic and bad, and have to stay "or else".
Yes you can mute them. Yes you can report them.
Then we are left with arguing if the game is a team based game or not anymore --given no comms in particular if you mute both the players and their pings.
I have left some games despite having the best loadout ever, in Pubs, because 8 minutes in, they were still looting. I was literally crouched in a spot waiting for the team.....
Or because I was the worse on the team... my team mates were both level 500 and skilled. Clearly it was not my lobby. It was more the time I was there licking the floor then the "help" I would have provided. It was actually me dragging the team down by dying constantly, and clearly they were better off without me. It wasn't fun for me nor them, better move on.
We all have games where we do poorly, we keep getting knocked and feel sorry for the team. But a three man team will always be better than a two man team. Take the hard lobby as a challenge, try your best.

Sure. What would there be in it for me from being carried?
It is a drag for them, and it is a hurdle for me to endure until the end of the match, eventually elimination.
And for my more skilled team mates, what is in there for them? Frustration for having to carry a person who cannot cope with the skill level of the lobby.- 5 years ago@Vdstrk To learn from them? Be better at the game? For them, you are a bullet sponge 😉. Besides it feels good when you carry someone to win.
Every fight you lose is a lesson, to analyze what you did wrong. Maybe you overpeeked, you whiffed your shots, bad positioning, pushed too hard etc etc. If you get knocked three times, tell yourself that 'no more knocks', play a lil less aggressive and let the better players take the lead. Just try mate, even if you fail.
If the opponents are just better, it still forces you to use all of your skills to counter them whereas you won't have to try as much versus someone weaker.- Vdstrk5 years agoSeasoned Ace@BaldWraithSimp
LOL. Meat shield, come here.. Unfortunately what happens in those instances, is that the better player(s) will leave with resentment, and some sort of ---"you s#$k" accusation to make the situation even more clear. LOL
I can learn from situation where it is CLEAR that I messed up, not from situations way above my skills. Because to me being erased in a second sounds like an aimbot, not a positioning mistake.
Whereas, a situation more manageable will have more margin of error. Leaving room for analysis.
