@Vdstrk I said before that i do not blame people for leaving in some extreme cases. And no there's no official stats, but seeing my experience, streamers on twitch, and hearing out some friends i can say that it's a common issue.
You said you can't carry newbies. Fair enough, but doing this you'll never give the chance to them to actually improve in the game. How do they feel when they see the third more experienced guy leave just because they are noobs? It's not even their fault, they need time to improve. I actually like playing with newbies and being the IGL with them because usually they listen to the more experienced players. They are not the issue. I'll not blame them simply because they can't shoot, what do you expect lol. If most of the people think like you, then noobs will remain forever noobs because they can't rely on a ingame guide.

Good point. How do they feel? I do not know. I wish they had comms to begin with, I would have at least heard what they were thinking. That would change the situation from leaving with no hope, to, "they are trying their best, let's see if they can make it"?
Comms are their prerogative. But I cannot jump to conclusions on how they feel based on the absence of any hint about it.
Eh. I cannot say for sure what would they end up being, if they will or not learn the game. There are several resources. Unless I'm specifically asked to share what I do/know, I keep it to myself. And then again, what guarantees are there to say that what I do in game is what is correct?
I'm sorry, but I am not good enough to carry 2 players to victory, how am I expected to be the one teaching them?

@Vdstrk Uh they are newbies right? They still don't know that comms are crucial in Apex. You can also teach that, and use the ping system which is quite useful in the game (fortunately). But seeing this conversation we both will not change our opinion so fair enough, we agree to disagree.🙂

Agree. One game, 2 games, ... .n games. Then enough is enough.By any means not accusing you of anything. Sorry if you feel that way.
I strongly believe in giving it a try. However, after a bit, you kinda start seeing a pattern.
Like, hot dropping among 7 teams... Try comms, nothing, try pinging another spot, nothing. Press E and drop elsewhere near by, no one follows.
Team mates are insta killed. Out of guilt I go to get their banner and I'm insta killed.
How many times do I need to see this situation happening before it is clear that 90% of the times this happens TO ME, it ends up in frustration? 90% is confidence enough for me to take a chance and leave.
ME SPECIFICALLY. I look around while dropping and tell to what looks like no one that there are n team around. If it is only one or 2 I take my chances, if are like 4 or more, I leave if they do not change where they drop.
