- @Vdstrk To learn from them? Be better at the game? For them, you are a bullet sponge 😉. Besides it feels good when you carry someone to win.
Every fight you lose is a lesson, to analyze what you did wrong. Maybe you overpeeked, you whiffed your shots, bad positioning, pushed too hard etc etc. If you get knocked three times, tell yourself that 'no more knocks', play a lil less aggressive and let the better players take the lead. Just try mate, even if you fail.
If the opponents are just better, it still forces you to use all of your skills to counter them whereas you won't have to try as much versus someone weaker. - @TheManiac2323 You cannot force people in matches where you get paired with total bots. Leaving is the only way we can run from this hell of matchmaking
@Vdstrk Uh they are newbies right? They still don't know that comms are crucial in Apex. You can also teach that, and use the ping system which is quite useful in the game (fortunately). But seeing this conversation we both will not change our opinion so fair enough, we agree to disagree.🙂

LOL. Meat shield, come here.. Unfortunately what happens in those instances, is that the better player(s) will leave with resentment, and some sort of ---"you s#$k" accusation to make the situation even more clear. LOL
I can learn from situation where it is CLEAR that I messed up, not from situations way above my skills. Because to me being erased in a second sounds like an aimbot, not a positioning mistake.
Whereas, a situation more manageable will have more margin of error. Leaving room for analysis. - Vdstrk4 years agoSeasoned Ace
@Cro_Pittt
Agree. One game, 2 games, ... .n games. Then enough is enough.By any means not accusing you of anything. Sorry if you feel that way.
I strongly believe in giving it a try. However, after a bit, you kinda start seeing a pattern.
Like, hot dropping among 7 teams... Try comms, nothing, try pinging another spot, nothing. Press E and drop elsewhere near by, no one follows.
Team mates are insta killed. Out of guilt I go to get their banner and I'm insta killed.
How many times do I need to see this situation happening before it is clear that 90% of the times this happens TO ME, it ends up in frustration? 90% is confidence enough for me to take a chance and leave.
ME SPECIFICALLY. I look around while dropping and tell to what looks like no one that there are n team around. If it is only one or 2 I take my chances, if are like 4 or more, I leave if they do not change where they drop.
- @Cro_Pittt No Man. Its Respawns fault for their matchmaking system. They should put those noobs against people their skill lvl not with a lvl 500 expecting to babysit match after match, im tired of lvl 20 teammates, i want to have fun and be actually a bit competitive in some matches at least im not wasting my gaming time to get forever killed in first fights cause bot teammates
There should not be a penalty for leaving pubs. If I wanna hot drop and try and murder half a lobby in the first ring that is my choice. If someone hot drops and gets knocked and you landed 2k+ meters away and are going to make no effort to come get there banner, why shouldnt they leave? You are playing pubs not everyone wants to play like you and either wants to play faster or slower. If someone wants to hot drop and you do not want to, you have a choice to either join them and potentially win or land slower and be a man down and still go for the win. If you are saying they get downed in a team fight and leave before the fight is over that can be justified too. Not everyone has multiple hours to play and want to get as much play time as possible and waiting for you to win the fight, get the banner, and rez. I understand it is frustrating for you, but it may be the only option for that player and if it bothers you that much, get a premade group or play ranked those are the more serious play styles that seem to be what you are looking for, by the way you want the game to work.
- Only in Apex where you see players tell people who want to play the game properly to look for a team not those that have way too much expectations for solo queue players. God this community is a joke.
I mean Ranked does what you are asking for...it punishes leavers...hell it punishes the people the server drops.
If you are playing the casual mode understand you are playing with people who have other priorities over the current game...like "i need to go to the br"
Simple answer: fear of losing money.
cheaters don’t buy things and drive people out of games and aren’t as big a percentage of the players. Leavers is likely a huge number of people and some of them do buy quite a lot I imagine.
nothing but my own supposition to back this but I think it’s pretty obvious that after 2 years Apex supports and encourages people to leave any game they want including in ranked.
My advice is instead of hating it, even if it’s terrible sportsmanship, get into it. Leave often. Leave just to leave. Leave when there’s no good reason to.
Maybe if it gets to be a big enough problem Respawn will at least stop giving prizes and rewards to leavers. Or maybe not. Either way, leave, leave and leave again.
