Why not have both maps in rotation?
Serious question here, have that said why or anything because I didn't expect kings canyon to be dropped, there was things I imagined having in kings canyon to make feel like a living breathing world...

so stupid the other map was way better we should have a choice of maps to play
Why would they take the time to create a whole new map, which is what we've been asking for, only to have us play it half the time...? They're starting this season with the new map and will bring King's Canyon back if there's enough demand for it.
But all that's in the patch notes.

Respawn listen to the community (which they are often accused of not doing) then get flak for it.
I swear the lack of "engaging brain" is strong with a lot of internet warriors. They fail to understand and fail to read, then claim they know better. Lmfao.

Because that's called giving players freedom of option to choose to play the game in the ways that are the most enjoyable and fun for them?
Are you saying diversity of gameplay and options is bad?
Should they also have only three playable legends at a time per season, and only one type of each weapon per map, only because some legends and weapons are not used as often?
I am not going to lie, the fact that Respawn periodically chooses to withheld options for fun gameplay (solo mode, old map) with excuse that it's all will be back later someday, is getting pretty tiresome, and is probably one of the major reasons that's holding this game back.
Just add more stuff for us to play with, and let players decide what they want to play. Rotating pieces of content to stretch it's use, looks, I don't know, little bit lazy, for the lack of better word?

For the record, I've stopped playing because of other issues. I'm no fanboy, but can see short sighted opinions a mile off.
No doubt if both maps were available in rotation, but your game wait time increased, or connections suffered, you'd be here like a shot to say how crap it is and how only one map should be in rotation.
Then people would still want solos on both maps, diluting the MMing even further. But hey, players know best lol.
