Why not have both maps in rotation?
Serious question here, have that said why or anything because I didn't expect kings canyon to be dropped, there was things I imagined having in kings canyon to make feel like a living breathing world...

It goes back to my original point - why would they release a new map that we've been begging for and make us only play it half of the time? They have to get feedback on the current one.
@jonesy0218Why does literally ever other game out there not disable the old maps when new ones come out? Because playing the same thing over and over quickly gets old.

@BA2VGT lol you're missing the point... Comparing a multiplayer game that's supposed to have multiple maps or come with multiple maps is much different than a battle royale with one map. What other BR has multiple maps? I'll wait.

I don't play over BR because they suck. Do we need to start having terrible graphics like pubg or the stupid building mechanics of fortnight? How about we use a 10 year old garbage engine like H1Z1?
None of the other big BR games, to my knowledge, have even had a "new" map (just revamping old ones) And it's rediculous to limit FPS game comparisons to BR games only.
As I said...the one logical argument, other than cost, is making que longer, and that's BS. It didn't with the game modes, and having a rotation won't hurt here. We had this problem in plants vs zombie GW2 people screaming to have GW1 maps in the game. Some people love old map and they want to play there since bring up a lot of memories and curious how things will work out overthere.
But you guys has been screaming for new map so they want you guys to try it out and give some feedback.
I think they will bring up old map for special game mode (2 weeks) so you guys can have nostaliga back.
Halloween (end of this month) would be a perfect one....trick a treat on old map with Hallowen customes and night mode would be awesome.
Just get your wallet ready for customes since it wont' be free.
If they need real numbers, real data, and real feedback on the new map, then they have to have it in place long enough to do so. You can't split the playerbase and expect accurate numbers. This is all for future content, so the feedback on this will improve the next map, updates, etc. I don't understand what you're not getting... Many people on these forums begged for a new map and now it's here. Let them learn and enjoy it before pouting about the old map. In the meantime, there's CoD that you keep bringing up. Maybe APEX is too basic for you? Oh well.
