Why people play Apex
It's not to..
Stand and craft for several minutes. (The issue is loot readily available)
Collect a loot arm from a robot and find another robot to get more loot. High 5? (Vault is ok but this is gimmicky and tediously boring)
Drive around in a Trident looking for a fight (wouldn't be necessary if the the distance of gunfire audio was shorter to reduce third partying and smaller map size)
Have bland fights. (For all the criticism Skulltown received, you had so many vectors to attack from and areas in the vicinity to pull back quickly if things went south creating a really fun and intense environment with playability you rarely find in the other 2 maps) Not the best for competitive but as you keep pushing for a casual experience..
Listen to silence because you keep adding more audio clutter in your already complicated and overstretched virtual environment. less is more, especially if it works.
There is a lot more you could complain about (not point of this thread) but you keep adding stuff just for the sake of it instead of enriching the experience.
If your eyes are full of bloodlust hunting kills or you're a sipping camomile while camped in a tree listening to the birds sing, we're all here to survive, kill or be killed and that should be the focus of what is implemented.
