The game isn't bugged, your pc likely isn't capable or your network conditions are bad. Also you're delusional if you honestly think you'd could beat any algs player. Especially when you have to create a scenario that doesn't even exist in the games mechanics to make that point. Timmy is also an aim demon, watch him play other games or Kovaaks. He's far above the majority of Apex pros when comes to raw mechanics.
Add to that the bad matchmaking that the OP was talking about and the game is now very difficult. I had to change my strategy to now sneak up on people or hit people already cracked since I don't stand a chance fighting like I used to.
My pc was just purchased a month ago and is brand new and was over 2 grand, I highly doubt my pc is an issue since even older pcs play it and the game is 5 years old. My network conditions have no problem playing other fps games like Overwatch or Star Wars Hunters. The problems are only with this game. Besides, my shots are obviously landing since it makes the sound effect, it's the game not registering the shots. 1 of the 2 streamers I mentioned earlier discontinued her apex streaming and now does fortnite and CoD since she can no longer win matches. People on YouTube that I correspond with in comments sections have told me the same things about these issues as well.
Also, my point was I couldn't beat an algs player if it was on the up and up, but if you nerf them to the current state that some players are experiencing I believe I could. If 2 shots took them out or they needed 3 clips to knock then they couldn't win either.

Like I said you're delusional. Averaging 5 kills a game isn't even remotely impressive and only having 1300 hours in the game you likely wouldn't even be on par with Diamond/Master level players. You might be having issues, but you are also no where near as good at the game as you think you are.
Also I'm going to assume you're basing your stats off of playing on the Switch, which isn't even comparable to to PC. Switch players are literally the bottom of the barrel in terms of skill.
- AymCTL2 years agoSeasoned Ace@SchraLpz I never claimed to be "impressive." I think averaging 5 kills per game and being able to knock people at a fast speed is pretty good for someone who never played a fps game before this one and came over to this game from turn based JRPGs. I'm proud of what I've accomplished in this game no matter what names people choose to call me.
Kills don't matter as much as winning games do, a point one of the mods made here a few months back. I'm not trying to compete with anyone and I said earlier I should have never been placed with itztimmy since he is way out of my league, this is nothing but bad matchmaking. The devs themselves have acknowledged these problems since they are mentioned in the survey that was recently sent to players on the email list.
As for my progress, as I said, call me any name you want, be it delusional or whatever, I am proud of what I've accomplished being that this wasn't my genre when I started, and I accomplished what I did through practice and hard work. I'm not finished and I will get better with more practice, on both switch and pc, and I'm confident the devs are working hard to fix the game's problems since they definitely indicated they are aware of them in the latest survey. - Ncessant2 years agoRising Vanguard
Kills do matter in terms of determining skill, it's much harder to drop double digit kill games than winning.
Especially if your just playing pubs you should be focusing on frags and positioning since there's no penalty for losing.
Also as far as MM goes there is no way around getting matched up with players with higher elo than you. The pool of players is smaller and most solo queue pubs. So if the game only matched according to like elos, high elo players would be sitting in pub queues 20-30 minutes.
