Why when the matchmaking gets only 2 people you are forced to stay?

honestly, 2 times today. the matchmaking makes me and another random start the game without a third member. so yeah i try to move on since theres no point (at least to me) in staying in a team of 2...

there was no loss forgiveness. i just got punished for leaving a team of 2 members right after picking phase because i didnt want to wait until the jumpmaster time.
this could be done before now it is not the case.
lame
