Why you should report almost everyone for Aimbot
Just a friendly reminder and a call to action for everyone.
As you know, Respawn doesn’t show a controller icon next to PC players' names in the death recap or spectate mode. If they are on PC, it just shows the PC icon. Because of this, it is literally impossible to distinguish between a controller player utilizing high-level aim assist and a literal cheater using a soft aimbot.
From a mouse and keyboard perspective, when you see a "PC player" perfectly tracking targets through the air, completely ignoring recoil, and one-magging people with zero human error, you are witnessing tracking that is mechanically impossible on a mouse without software assistance.
Since Respawn refuses to give us proper visual clarity and treats MnK players like second-class citizens - forcing us to fight against controller players who abuse and squeeze every single drop out of aim assist - we have to take matters into our own hands.
The logic here is simple: more reports lead to automated bans. The more controller players get flagged and banned by the automated system, the faster Respawn will be forced to acknowledge the issue. If they refuse to fix the balance and give us proper icons, we will use the tools we have to fight back.
Don't overthink it. You are just doing your civic duty based on the visual information the game provides. If someone tracks you perfectly like a robot, report them for Aimbot and let the automated system sort them out.
