Will Apex benefit from more cores or higher clock speed in a CPU?

@pepo_boyiii Not an expert on what any major difference maybe but the card seems to run with similar performance. I usually use sites like this one to compare different aspects of performance. To answer your initial question, more cores generally mean more applications can be run at once and a higher clock speed means a given application should run/load quicker. Although other factors like Ram, Data Storage, GPU can also affect the overall performance of your PC or a game like Apex.

@pepo_boyiiiAlso keep in mind. Those i5/i3 are highly out dated. Consider a computer like a boat. You will need to upgrade each year to even keep up on games.

So with that being said def do not go cheap on your cpu or gpu. A lot companies well all will have upgraded chipsets next year which means to replace say a cpu could be replacing the entire pc it self in terms of building. Your old ram wont fit in it cpu possibly as well.

So with that being said id make sure what I'm upgrading to will def last me some years as well as play most games I can for as long as I can. Over clocking is not nice on a machine it will kill the lifespan much quicker then running at its base.

Also that comes into play. If you was wanting to upgrade say next year and requires the same chipset as your old mother boards retailers do not carry those anymore. Once a new chipset on motherboards are released they completely stop carrying the older versions. Simple because they want to force users to buy new parts. So if did want to upgrade it would be via third party website new or used.
