The one time $10 fee earns you enough to buy the subsequent passes. In the real world example of buying a battle pass, you would never pay more than $10, ever.
Unless something forces you to spend all the coins you earn.
Yes when someone gives you the battle pass for free and you spend all your coins it is a $60 value.
My point is if you say I am only getting EA Pro for the battle pass well then you are still paying $100 + taxes for something that you could have had for $10 or spent like crazy and had for $60.
Still makes no sense.

I never finish the BP, usually lvl 50 or 60 then I spend the coins on skins, packs, or legends. You assume that all you do is grind BP every season. The VALUE is getting the free BP so I am not grinding every season to get the next for free. I can use my coins how I see fit.
I get your point, but you are missing everyone elses. You think the BP is the end all be all in peoples minds and thats it. The point is VALUE. I have planned on the BP every season, 6 to this point, I never unlock the full PB and and use the coins for other things. I don't play enough to unlock all the legends so I use coins for that. I found value in playing BF V, but not enough to buy it. Same with Madden, Fifa, Squadrons, Dragon Age, Sims for my daughter, and other games for my son. It had VALUE, but none of these games I would buy. I play Apex as a casual game and BP was the bigger draw to me. You don't have to like it, understand it, or agree to it. In sales it's called VALUE ADDED BENEFIT, everyone has there tipping point, BP is mine. It no longer holds the same value.
