@Eshshshss My first response had zero to do with maps. None. I just commented on the sniper issue and asked why even have sniper/marksmen weapons for reasons mentioned earlier.

@RockDokRock weapon categories would make sense UNLESS there would be hacks (aimbot, no recoil) available. But now yes - pair new L-star with 3 or 2-4x scope and no recoil and you get ultimate weapon in all 3 ranges which everyone can now see at least in Diamond lobbies.
In the perfect world, L-start would still remain a semi-inaccurate weapon for mid and maybe close range and should be outgunned by 30-30/bow/longbow/G7 in mid/mid-long range and by shotguns in close range (which it kinda is, yet the difference usually is the time when you close the distance to the enemy who can still rail you will L-star while you are hitting 7s and 9s with your shotgun).
