Xbox recording not working properly with new HDR

Getting very washed out looking captures on xbox one s since new HDR popped up for s7. Am running the xbox at 4k uhd at 60 htz as 120 unavailable on TV. The only settings on xbox for capture @ 1080 o...

@OldTreeCreeper I also play on One S, In my experience, because the Xbox is not capable of recording clips in HDR, the resulting SDR capture always looks pretty plain as a result. Games that don’t use HDR look the same when captured. I’m not aware of any way to make it look “normal”.

@Koochi-Q Yea that might be it. Fortnite records fine in the xbox 4kuhd setting.

@Koochi-Q @MyName1sNotJohn xbox dosn't take screen captures for apex at all now either.

  @OldTreeCreeper Is your storage destination full or something? Never heard of a game not taking pics/vids unless it’s a demo game and it’s been restricted on purpose.

    @Koochi-Q just tried your button suggestion and lower capture rate etc. Sorry didn't work. Lowered to 720 then back to 1080 and situation is the same. No screen capture and washed out color in both recordings.
    Only fortnite and apex on drive, I assure you I'm fanatical about keeping stuff off the drive. 😃
