@VersusGravity I think making them laugh broke the ice. I've played duo with plenty of people that ignore the duo and do their own thing even when it's obvious the duo is communicating and will help the solo.
@hayhor Sometimes I find good duos who seem happy to have their new pet. Duo'd with two girls who communicated with eachother about me because I was using pings. "Oh I think she's doing xyz" they referred to me as she because I was using Ash.
But I've also had duos who strangely seem to be doing their own thing / completely ignoring you. Which is actually quite odd and not an enjoyable feeling.
