YOUR ACCOUNT IS AT RISK, EA SUPPORT WILL GIVE IT AWAY

BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR ACCOUNT, VERIFY IT DAILY

I have now dealt with this multiple times, as I'm assuming my account has been targeted by someone trying to steal and sell my account.  They have managed to change my email address, disable tfa, remove my secondary email address, and all other verification options that are offered by EA to protect your account from these threats.

How are they doing this, you may ask.  Well they're going to customer support and just saying the email address and the username IF EVEN THAT MUCH, and they are changing the emails of your account without any further verification on their end.  I even asked for a note to be left on my account explaining that I do, in fact, have access to the original email address that they claimed to have lost access to when reclaiming my account and to not change without verification (this was only 4 days before the next attempt, and I have continued to provide that email and verification of ownership and access of it).  This did not stop them.  A few days later, the same issue occurred and my tfa, secondary email, backup codes, and all other protection options had been disabled.  EA SUPPORT WILL GIVE YOUR ACCOUNT AWAY WITHOUT HESITATION, PLEASE PROTECT IT IF YOU CARE ABOUT IT AT ALL!!!!!!

Hey @kilertrumpet1 I would recommend going through the info in this link: https://help.ea.com/en/help/account/how-to-maintain-account-security/

If someone is able to change your account details then it is likely the case that they have access to your email also as our team will not make any changes to an account unless it has been verified by the account owner, if someone is able to do this then it means that they would have access to your info and accounts.

  • I can guarantee you this is not correct, as I have the transcripts from the first attempt and all was needed was email and origin ID.  I can also use the second attempt as proof where a note was added to my account and was disregarded when customer support gave away my account again, without having access to my email to verify ownership as previously stated.  I have tfa on my email as well, so any unrecognized device would alert me if there was an attempt, just as tfa alerted me to me trying to login every time I've attempted to login after reclaiming my account.  Furthermore, if they had access to my account, why would they state that they couldn't get into the email account to prove ownership in the first place.  And to add further insult to injury, I listed all the ways I proceeded to protect my account, all of which are listed in the link you sent me, so you either didn't read the post or are just copy/pasting your reply.  GREAT SUPPORT!

Hey @kilertrumpet1 I'm going to lock this thread as there is nothing that we can do to assist with account-related issues on AHQ.

Please speak with our live support team if you believe your account is being compromised.
