Apex is * now, Too many rats ratting for LP and not playing the game, LP has to be the stupidest god damn idea, It's basically unplayable.

So you approve not receiving any bonus whatsoever from kills and only from placement? I was just kill leader, got placed 9th place, got 25 pts total (0 bonus). Does this sound fair to you?

I'm on record as having said many times that if ranks were run by me you would get points for win and none for a loss. Period. Second place with 10 kills = ZERO. I'm tired of a game with a finish line handing out rewards to people who don't finish.@reconzero Its dumb. Simple. What you have now is everyone camping and hugging the ring until the final circle when there are literally still 12 squads alive and it all comes down to map placement. It isn't fun at all.

What they have done is to give satisfaction to low skill level people.... they can all now enjoy the look of the platinum emblem or even diamond for their non participation efforts.....
- @reconzero That would be ridiculous... what other game or competition gives 0 for a 2nd place. Even ALGS rewards 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th and rewards every kill and assist.
We play for entertainment right? Not to be bored to death. Rank is a way for us to have objectives and a motive to play. If it's a game of wait and hide we wouldnt even play it be it serious or not.
Rank is there to encourage us to play... not to prove we have the ability to hide.
It's called Battle royale not Hiding royale... there is no point in even having guns and shield if the whole point is to survive. Make it a melee royale.

Look, I didn't personally invent the gametype. It is what it is. If you want to play it as if there is something other than winning that matters then that's fine. I'm only saying that what is prudent and most likely to yield good results may not be the most entertaining, and that I'm good with rewarding the prudent and not rewarding the imprudent. Would my ranking system be popular? Of course not. People are fundamentally impatient and will forever try to treat this game as if it is something that it isn't. But that can't change the mainspring of this game: win or don't win. There is no try.- @reconzero Where does it say that only winning matters? Nowhere. It never was. Warzone rewards kills and placement, Algs too. Apex rank did reward placement and kills from season 1.
I dont know where you got this... but battle royale was never only about wining. Never. It always was about the experience , killing a lot, fighting a lot til the end.
