@ringin10before assuming people are cheating without hard evidence. Can you just for once think that there's a possibility that other players have the ability to control their thumbs, use Advanced Controls (in game settings btw), Scuf/Elite/Razr controllers with even more customization than your standard controller.
and yes the netcode while spectating isnt a 1 to1 representation of what's happening in game.
Spectating mode being far from 100% accuracy brings a new thing into attention: reporting. This is a very good reason why players can't be banned solely on videos recorded by spectators. When anticheat code fails, cheater reports need to go through thorough evaluation of the data before decisions are taken. Apex has probably hundreds of thousands of cheaters and possibly millions of reports, that's why the war against them takes forever.
I think there are a lot of keyboard and mouse players on console. It is much easier to move a mouse down to compensate for recoil using the 99 than to thumb the right stick down and aim. I wish xbox and game developers would take a stand against Xim users.
