apex legends and its atrocious matchmaking

Im a solo q pub player (i dont havce friiends to play), i play on console with crossplay on, I have over 35k career kills with 1,75 kd playing since s1, this game has been nothing but painful to play en the last year or so, I play like 3 hours at most the days that i play and always my matches are filled with preds or pub stompers with well over 50k kills, even teams with over 300k kills combined. No matter how much I die the game insist on placing me in those lobbies and its exhausting, u cant even chill, I play on NA servers and the game constantly puts the same people in my lobbies over and over again, i legit dont get it, its not like I want my lobbies to be full with bots or noobs but goddamn the game doesnt even feel fun to play having to always tryhard. The other problem is that I literally have to sit and wait in long qs like they were ranked, like I literally see the game handpicking the lobby to put me in sometimes even waiting for 5 minutes for the game to find me a matche cause it keeps jumping me over in the queue.
