Apex is lagging again with the new update

My apex is lagging again with the new update. My quality of the game fluctuates with each update. One update comes out and my computer doesn't lag or have any issues. Then the next update comes out and its lagging again. Two updates later is back to normal again. I keep my drivers up to date, my internet is plenty fast, and my setting are at optimal level. I've even tried turning settings all the way down when lagging, turning V-sync off, setting framerate cap, uninstalling and reinstalling,  directly changing NVIDIA settings, all of it and nothing helps.

I'm running an Nvidia 1660 ti, with an i5 processor, and 8gb of RAM. 

I really enjoy the game when it's working , but this latest update has really caused some serious lag. Please help, not sure what else to try.

    @D3dEye Do you know if you have a high ping time or packet loss with the lag starts? Also, do you see any of the connection error symbols pop up?

    The only ping figures I can see are the ones on the main screen where you select your Data Center. I'm on New York, 10 ping, and 0% packet loss. At least thats what the data center page tells me. 

    As for error symbols, I'm getting the prediction error (line with dots symbol) most when I'm in game play. I have no internet issues with any other games, my internet speed is roughly 300 mbps.

    Hey, @D3dEye Can try going through the information listed on our Basic and Advanced pages and see if this continues? If So can you try enabling the Performance Display settings and see if you continue to have loss or latency?

    Enable performance display

    • Go to Settings > General
    • Scroll toward the bottom and enable performance display

    me to, its like sometimes when the game starts i'll be ok but 1/2 way through to 2/3 i just get big spikes to small ones constantly. mainly when around other players. i have a g15 5530 32g and 2 tb memory. 360 hertz monitor. can easily run 180-200 fps but no packet loss or anything because i run the stats on top right.

    i7 processor with gefore reflex graphics and 500 mb internet. i had to reinstall steam and apex after patch to get it to run without the 1280x720 error and when i did get it ot launch it wouldnt allow me to select 1920x1080. all that's fixed but the lag...
