It improved but only slightly in some areas, for example the homepage and when my character drops from the drop ship but the game itself, still lags.
I honestly think the fault lies with the EA server and it’s something that EA themselves need to resolve by the looks of it and judging by everyone’s comments as I have no problem playing non EA games, no lag at all with them.
I've been suffering the exact same issue since season 9. Even tried the DNS fix they suggested, and it hasn't changed. Wired connection, new modem, good internet. I've been playing since day one and now I'm giving up on this busted game.

What system are you playing on?

I actually have a similar situation to that guy. Since the Genesis update in season 9 on PC (wired connection), i've been lagging constantly which also ties in with the FPS drops; just super choppy/micro-stuttering. I don't have high CPU usage like the others though.
I generally have 2-4% packet loss on all the EU servers (all the other regions are generally ok but I am in the UK so I can't play on them). Before the update I didn't have any packet loss.
Furthermore, before this update, I had around 20-30 ping on most EU servers but now it is anywhere between 40-70 and it will fluctuate like crazy, making the experience awful.
And like the others, I don't have issues on any other games such as packet loss, high/fluctuating ping, and stuttering/FPS drops.

Thanks. I've attached the UO trace.
As for troubleshooting i've followed https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Zeel-s-in-depth-Troubleshooting-Guide/m-p/8306647#M72353 to no avail. As for the "connection issues" section, I've done everything apart from a VPN, messing with ports, and changing DNS as I do not encounter issues in other games.

I'm not seeing any issues. You've got some high pings, but that's due to distance since you're hitting a test server in the US. The connection to your router looks ok, but it's a bit high for being wired. Not enough to cause lag or disconnects though. Does your router support QoS (Quality of Service)? If so, try enabling it. Also, check your router for a firmware update.

I feel like I've done every troubleshoot in the book. DNS like was suggested. Cleared my cache. Tried a different region. Reset modem. Uninstalled/reinstall.
System shows it is not my Internet. I have played two other FPS games since this issue began, and neither are suffering the same lag spikes like this game.

QoS is something you see on more recent routers. Especially ones intended for gaming. As far as this issue goes, we're investigating connection issues so hopefully, if there's an issue found, that takes care of it. Otherwise, I think you've done about everything I can suggest. You're also welcome to contact an advisor to see if they have anything else to suggest. You can try contacting @EAHelp through Twitter or open a case with a live support advisor here: https://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/new/. You can also go to facebook.com/eahelphub to get in touch with support. They'll look into this for you. Thanks!
