It looks like there is a new driver for your RTX 2080 card.

Also having the same issue here, using 2080ti. Latest drivers been updated to 4.18.81v. Restarted pc and did not help. Crashing in mid or late game. Was trying different graphics settings- low, mid, high and it did not solved issue.

the way i fixed my issue was to reinstall it to a different hard drive, roll back drivers to 417.71 and then restart the comp (you might need to verify files on game as well)
after that i was able to play normally. would have to reinstall back on my SSD to see if it works normally still.
hopefully it helps others- 7 years agoThis seems more like it randomly didn't install falsely this time than the HDD actually being a solution.
Also, what if you just don't have the extra space on another drive? :/ This still requires a patch or something.- 7 years ago
Had the issue still on my HDD until i had to revert back drivers, restarted comp and verified files once more.
the best i can tell you is try to make space if possible or try other steps but alot of people are having this issue. so hopefully a patch comes out to help fix this
